2025/09/25: I am on the industry job market. Relevant keywords: HPC/ML observability, performance, and trace analytics, tuning/RDMA/infiniband, data engineering, OLAP, streaming data systems. Please reach out if you are hiring in any of these spaces.
My interests are all things systems. Over the course of my (long) grad school tenure, I have worked on various aspects of large scientific applications — streaming data indexing, placement and scheduling, performance analysis and optimization, although my biggest nemesis has been debugging and tuning infiniband. Over time, I have become interested in building systems to collect, analyze, and reason about systems performance.
As a side gig, I fuss over my 2014 Mazda 3 and my homemade ebike, geek out in the intersection of economics and data analysis, and try to optimize my nutrition profile.
